today is a great day!
ABSEILING IS (L)
for ppl who dno wth abseiling is (like me before today),
IT IS BASICALLY A SPORT WHEREBY ONE JUMPS DOWN A 18METRE WALL with the help of a safety harness.
damn freaking scary hahahahha
but it's fun (Y)!

anyway since now is like practically half hour to midnight im almost brain dead and forgot what i wanted to post very badly -.-
oh right yes abseiling was funnnnn
had it as part of guides initiatives, initially thought is like some boring crap which i'd prefer rock climbing to it
but then in the end quite fun leh!
but the scaryness is like 11/10. HAHA
just to scare you peeps out.

zihighed in the bus all the way to the Safra Yishun Country Club :)
it's really cool there ;)
arrived there thinking we would be having some kinda talk like last year's rock climbing to start off. was super scared when there wasnt one! instead the instructor (who happened to be the exact same one who taught as rock climbing last year) asked us straight if we still rmbed how to belay for rock climbing and etc o.o
obv we din lah lol. one year alr -.-
so he recapped a lil and then i tried to rock climb and ended up making my blister bleed through my sock argh ))))):

and also ended up malu-ing myself when trying to pull wang's rope zzz
but the guy also couldnt differentiate left from right himself hah!
so we started the practical thing straight o.o
it was uber scary at first just looking at the wall itself!
like so freaking tall.

it really felt like that!
wang and i trudged up the stairs to what seemed like doom......
then we got to the top and ifeltlikeiwasgonnafaint ):
it's srsly like damn scary at the top at first.
when i look down from above i srsly wanna just go wobbly and faint/blackout o.o
imagine the hysteria when the instructor said "sit down"
i was like, WHAT?
cos in this case, there's practically no chair you can see to sit on o.o
it's like sitting on air just that it's actually not on air cos your harness is pulling you up o.o
but it's still freaking scary!

i was like giving small yelps/screams at the start cos i rly din dare to get off the ledge ):
panicking and wondering what would i do if i got stuck midway in the air
thinking ISTHISTHELASTDAYOFMYLIFE
and now looking back im thinking omg im so silly to think that -.-
in the end i got down!!! safely!!
without getting stuck or any crap. yay ;D
but i descended with wobbly legs and a feeling like i-wanna-tumble-down-on-the-floor-now
just collapsed on the wooden floor after getting the caribena off. hehh :)
okay lah not so drama. but still it was more like a HENG feeling rather than satisfaction or what crap o.O

but michelle was the most epic haha. okay mich i know you read my blog but i just cant help but post this that you were damn epic!

went for lunch and came back :)
and then our second time for abseiling came haha
had my heart in my mouth again when i climbed up to the top
cos this time we had to LOCK the string while in midair
means you use all your strength to move one end of the string to the other end to press down so that you can stop yourself from moving and have both hands free o.o
required to do that to pass and get our certs o:
i did it on the first try!!! :D
but it was freaking scary too, hah.

camwhored after that hahaha
and got entertained by sam's korean dance moves ;)
samantha siau you are damn talented can! even if you dont admit it.

oh and everyone passed in the end :)
even ronghui who din dare to go up at the 1st time yay :D
it felt good cheering her on hah.
