lol actually i rly don't like economics and stuff related to money
i dont like it that the world's so concerned about money and wants to grab money at the easiest chance.

the mr lim said the banking/finance sector pays one of the best in terms of $$.
wtv, im sticking to trying to be a doctor.

after school we had history excursion to see some archeologist featured in the newspaper :D

the first day of school didnt really feel like the first day of school D:
it just felt normal. maybe cos we've been going to school more than once a week even in the hols so it's like not having a holiday ._.

#1: he can't pronounce R properly.
so, we hold daily celemonies now instead of ceremonies.

#2: his grammar cmi.
sure i've seen people who add an extra "s" behind some words in essays. but never while delivering a quite formal speech ._. bests!

#3: "everyone, including -proceeds to list out a, b, c, d, e... all the way to z-"
imagine if guides had someone like that lol. like people in front say "okay now i want all the patrols to jihe immediately. all the patrols including P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7 and P8."
and then pass message behind. pass until siao. imagine if such an absurd situation ever happened ._.
okay there used to be P9 and P10 morningglory/bougainvillea but still, now there's 8.

orientation :D
year 4 orientation.
can tell that a lot of planning and dry runs were carried out. can empathise with the planners so shant comment loads on it.
the first station reminded me of pltc.
oh and the umbrellas the tallest people had to hold during soccer was kind of gay O.O

hopefully (even though i have a bad feeling) tmr's orientation will be funnerrrr.
but can't really enjoy it cos got nagging feeling at the back of my head D:
this nagging feeling is called worrying-for-pioneering. sigh.

had orientation prep today. it's my second last orient prep ever, i think o:

at the end (it's always nearing the end somehow) pace got a little faster and started chionging/baoshi-ing like mad.
it helps to have a watch during guides. A LOT.

actually the concept behind tying a butterfly knot's quite easy. but it's the actual tying part that's tedious ):
especially the metal wire giant-needlework-threading thing. when you try to chou the metal wire you end up with a thousand holes in your hand o:

nightmare (pulley) knot is nowhere as nightmarish as butterfly knot. gah.

lol, false hope. when we first met mr seow during lunch today he was like "we try to end at 5 if possible" even though the gmail wrote 6.30pm. then in the end, it ended at 8 o:
about like 10 year4 guides and 6? 8? scouts stayed behind to finish the butterfly knots. still need to tie some remainder left, though.
at first i was really hungry @ about 4. then chou sheng until not hungry alr. ate dinner at 8.30 :)

finished COPYING chem after a grueling 2 hours of pressing ppt slides and staring at the screen yay :D and it's not even doing, just merely copying wholesale from the slides.
imagine how many papers were wasted just for this copying thingy. and i didnt get much info from it anyway, seeing how i blindly copied and din absorb anything ._.
the only thing i managed to rmb was this very lame joke about a noble gas at a restaurant not wanting anymore electrons. zzz.

to do list for tmr:
1) FINISH THE LAST JIANBAO
2) do 1 or 2 maths assg D: (it's impossible to finish all in one day)

it's a new year, a fresh start and a whole new day yay (:
woke up super late today by an sms haha.

so, new year resolutions :D
the theme for this year is GEEK/NERD. 8)
i need to discipline myself, focus and concentrate!

1) cut down on facebook to 1hour a day max
(okay i think i alr crossed the border today)
know its gonna be really hard to limit myself and require lots of discipline to get away from the addicting computer but im gonna tryyyy. REMIND ME IF YOU SEE ME ONLINE ON FB FOR DAMN LONG! :)

2) read FINISH the whole 好作文 that i bought last year (only read 4 so far)
in prep for O lvl chinese D: must overcome this ooooold nemesis of mine. chinese. shall try not to be so dependant on my tuition teacher :/

3) 3.6 for overall GPA.
it's gonna be REALLY tough seeing that i've never attained it before :/ always slacken after the first term, now with facebook (ugh) and blogging these 2 temptations its gonna be 3 times harder. also the fact that now there's 2 maths that could pull me down. D:
that'll mean i need:
three 3.6s (LA, history, physics)
two 4.0s (chem, bio?)
one 2.8 (maths 1)

4) gold for napfa! :))
don't wanna lose my gold-streak, haha :D

i've actually realised that sleeping more DOES help my allergies :)
