my mind feels kinda blank and ive forgotten how to start a post. o.o''
probably got to do with the fever i guess.
i've gotten more and more absent minded ever since the fever ytd o:
yesterday was a scary day O:
the day started out fine like any other day, i guess.
just that i din sleep that well and woke up for a short while at 5.30am with a horrible sore throat ):
read Flowers For Algernon in 158 until i had motion sickness and felt slightly queasy o:
anyway, basically all was well.
went to class to do CME/a bit of leftover zuowen.
next was ACE when mr zein talked so fast and clicked ppt slides so fast till i couldnt copy much in time.
not that i'll probably use his info in the future anyway LOL.
huiwen best (Y) fell asleep all the time and only woke up to copy the discussion questions lolll
then recess and CME.
for some weird reason i din feel like eating during recess and only drank one cup of ribena o:
sore throat was getting worse ):
CME came and it was quite boring.
as usual.
PCCG (which up till now i still dunno what the letters mean) next, went to comp lab to find out more about the careers offered in singapore...
filled up some worksheet thingo
1st choice: otolaryngological surgeon
2nd choice: dermatologist
3rd choice: doctor
most ppl only knew what the 3rd choice means haha.
go wiki it if you rly wanna know what #1 and #2 mean.
it's got something to do with my allergies :)
ive met a real #1 and #2 before lol.
and just as PCCG was abt to end suddenly i got a OWW headache D:
dno why but the more i thought about otolaryngologists and said it in my mind the more my head hurt o.O
at first i thought it was just some passing headache but it became worst and worst and lasted all the while through math o.o
math was horrible.
tried to concentrate on what the teacher was saying about set theory but my mind was fuzzy and couldnt focus at all.
teacher called my name to answer a question and my voice was wobbly ):
i was practically counting down the seconds to lunch to whip out my thermometer and find out if i was having a feverrrr
almost wanted to cry (lol idk why) when the bell rung and the teacher still din end the lesson lol.
and FINALLY when it ended i was near desperation and took out my thermometer.
felt extremely feverish and got super scared when i switched on my thermometer
knew something was extremely wrong when the thing started with 36.something
cos normally im like some cold-blooded person and the thing starts at 34.something o.O
anw thank God the thermometer din die on me when i needed it most :)
36.4°C jumped to 37.2°C and jumped to 37.5°C ...
the moment it did i jumped out of my seat and went over to huiwen sitting beside my table partner
got there and looked at it by the time it was 38.34°C O_O
i was like omgomgomgomgfreakfreakfreakfreakimhavingafeverrrr
then in my desponess i just tapped her shoulder non-stop (lol reminds me of weixin)
and pointed at the therm ):
sookwei came over and i showed her too ahh
by the time i went back to my seat i was practically... shivering?
too scared or smth i guess.
couldnt pack my bag properly and so they helped me yay.
then went to the front where ms lim was talking to eric and qg
showed her the thermometer and then she was like "aiyo! fever so high temperature" or smth
and for some weird reason i began to cry o.o''
gahh.
and then she said "dont cry dont cry" and i cried even more cos she was so nice. lol.
ran to toilet to pee/calm myself down/wash face
toilet seat was icy cold argh
went down to G.O. with sookwei and huiwen to register for leave.
lol kinda dumb. had to wait almost 20min before could leave.
told the person i had a 38.3°C fever and she was like "then you better go home quickly and rest! and go see doctor"
and i was thinking
yes i know that zzz. then why dont you quickly approve of my leave and let me go home -.-but of cos i din tell her that straight in the face lol.
cabbed home and by the time i reached home i was feeling like crapppp ):
took temperature again...
38.8°C
was so confused all i could think was "oh sheeet it's higher than just now"
din realise how high it was and that it was nearing 39°C o.o
headache disappeared at least. thank God :)
ate lunch & medicine and went up to sleep.
luckily my dad came home and help me put icy-cold towel on my forehead :)
so shiok lol.
was practically burning alr
somemore never sweat to lose latent heat of vaporisation haha.
fever subsided to 37.4°C after 1h
slept and slept like nobody's business :D
woke up at 6.30pm and continued reading Flowers For Algernon haha.
later fever came back and we went to see a doc o:
dunno how many times have i seen this #3 o.O
im sickly.
but it's my first time leaving sch halfway cos of fever o:
anw. told the doc about my throbbing headache that lasted 2h (longest time ever)
and he was like oh no, when ppl tell me that it's very very bad o.o
luckily he checked my BP/eye response to light and nothing wrong :D
surprisingly went back home with the normal kind of medicine for flu.
nothing new
read finish FFA while waiting for the medicine to be prepared :)
it's a (Y) book!
it made me realise that probably when i grow older i'll look back on my archives and these kind of posts would seem like
progris riports haha.
skipped sch today.
got an MC to cover for today and tmr but im still contemplating on whether i should go back to sch tmr o:
i wanna go back and see my friendsss.
i wanna go attend the Career Day stuff.
but then again,
i dont wanna finish my overdue zuowen today to pass it up tmr
neither do i wanna have my maths test tmr ):
proposal due on friday too, damn.
history essay and ace essay too.
but i wanna pass up my portfolio o:
ohwell just have to see what happens tonight i guess.
if i still have a fever >37.4°C then probably you wont see me in sch tmr o:
dno what am i gonna do about my homework though o:
but today was better!
i realised that my temperature goes down everytime i pray. yay :)
ate lunch with a 37.1°C and started sweating (yay good sign)
but after getting on the comp... can feel my legs going wobbly and temperature rising.
gonna go and sleep now.
