omg lol hi again :D
back to post on today's ayg duty!
woke up at 5.30am (again) and reached there at 6.35 (:
yiting overslept so didn't get to wait for her D:
went up there then there was this woman I didn't recognise,
kept asking me what FA I was under
then I had to keep repeating "SPECIAL"
then she always gave the exact same reply somehow
"Oh special people are extra people with nothing to do"
or smth like that.
yep, felt really nice to hear that

so she told me to go replace two ushers downstairs at the restaurant o.o
saw ruoting and xinrui came earlier than me and taking over my ytd's job of temp. taking.
wanted to say good luck to them but forgot o:
cos I heard that yiting would be going to OPS instead of Special now.
D: no yiting, got quite sian.
so in the end went down -very enthusiastically- to stand at the entrance of the restaurant
hmm.
took over the two people and just said welcome/thank you to the people passing in and out
got bored really quickly
didn't get to sit down too o:
some girl from commonwealth sec also came to join me later o.o

then after 10min the two original ushers came back down,
and took over our duties!!!
omg was damn happy and I think I subconsciously said YES!!! in front of them LOL.
went up again,
the same woman was still there then this time she told ruoting xinrui sarah hillary and I to "go take a break until 9" cos there was nothing for us to do till then
so we went to eat breakfast for 3 hours
wow wake up so early to enjoy breakfast
posh hotel buffet breakfast but was too sleepy to enjoy it
so ended up eating watermelon for 10min and sleeping for 2h++ on the breakfast table
damn shuang omg 8D

went back up at 9am sharp,
then the woman said "no what I said 9.30am" (I'm quite sure she said 9am)
so we just sianned at some shady corner for half hour,
talktalktalktalk :D
nearing the end of it all this guy approached us then kept asking us if we wanted to start a "bagpipe bang" (band) LOL.
at first I think no one understood what he was talking about
then he asked where we were from and we said DUNMAN HIGH GIRL GUIDES :D
then he told us to ask around if we girl guides were interested in forming a bagpipe band.
also he somehow said girl guides originated from scotland or smth
and all the while I was really amused and giving him the o.O expression haha
later he went off then we continued talking
and sarah started talking about hitler and Qing dynasty people who bound their extremely smelly feet
and chinese dance and the torture she witnessed others having last time

took over duty after 9.30am passed,
ruoting xinrui and I took turns with sarah and hillary to man the temperature-scanning booth/computer thermal scanner screen
over time we got bored and I started to dewire my used masks and crafting crap with it LOL.

that's how the thermal scanner worked o:

actually quite weird,

as long as its above 36.0degrees Celsius they will show as red colour

hillary and xinrui was the hottest among us haha.

the mouse was shown on the screen but there was no actual computer mouse o.o

anyway now you know eyes are hotter than faces (:

so we alternated duties for shifts of one hour each time,

temp scanning then seeing the screen then temp scanning and blahblah

talking to ruoting and xinrui really interesting

found out a lot of......

interesting things!

REALLY REALLY interesting.

hmm!

ate lunch at 12+,

allergic to most of the other dishes like sushi and chicken and veggie cos of some ingredients in them, so ended up drinking their soup and eating salad and this daaaaamn nice banana bread with vanilla cream!

free hotel buffet 6.30am-8pm+?, one whole restaurant (equinox) specially for ayg workforce o.o

the people are reaaaally generous,

first the free 2 t shirts

and the bermudas which they returned cos apparently too ugly

and now free flow of food non stop

and not only two days I bet.

ytd's lunch was nicer!

ate dinner at 6.30pm

dinner was lovely yay (:

loved the lamb rump (which actually means butt) with garlic mashed potato.

they even typed out the ingredients!

so nice of them,

did they predict allergy people like me or something?

anyway really thoughtful for the minority of people who have alot of allergies :D :D

swissotel is nice!

couldn't eat some desserts though,
cos allergic to some of the ingredients like soya

looked like a giant beancurd to me

also ate potato salad like in ytd's lunch,

same great taste :D

also had some shrimp salad but I couldn't eat it cos of the shrimp D:

okay shall stop advertising for their food,

anyway the lamb was reaaaaally nice

worth the looooong wait :D

while yiting and I ate dinner charmaine and kristin took over our temp. scanning...

and then the media reporter came and snapped a lot of pics LOL.

poor them

went back after that,

took over the OPS phone call duty while the sec4s ate their dinner,

really scary when the phone started to ring

scared the crap out of me lol.

yiting went to take over the temp. thingy,

the reporter took a lot of pics of her too :D :D

and she even had to pose when an athlete came along like she was taking his temp. LOL

lucky me didn't get snapped by the reporter :D :D :D

went back to temp. scanning when the sec4s returned (thankfully)

to the thermal scanner area

teoee was there!!

tried 'proposing' to her but she refused to accept D:

she signed on my mask though

should have kept it in case she becomes some kinda celebrity in future

then can sell her signature for thousands of dollars LOL

duty ended at 8!!!

last day having duty,

almost reluctant to leave swissotel haha.

got lots of memories in the 27hours I spent there.

sneezed nonstop in the mrt trip back o.o

almost thought was the more-than-normal flu

hope not though lol

then the people in the mrt kept staring at me sneezing

like I got the more-than-normal flu

somemore I wearing ayg t shirt

then got the famous case of the filipino ayg athlete recently tested positive for it o.o

must have looked suspicious lol
